About the Artist
Rick Burns is a resident of Berwick, Maine. He is a self-employed carpenter, home inspector and sculptor working with industrial symbolic metals, wood, clay and mixed media. Rick has served in the United States Armed Forces as well as the Maine state Legislature. He holds a B.A. in Social Science and is deeply concerned about the social and political state of America and strives to relate these concerns in his work.
Nothing In The Universe Rattles - A Tribute to Albert Einstein and his curiousity of the universe. The work is pictured at Prescott Park, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where it spent the summer of 2009.
