$3,875.00God Is Water -
The stainless steel sphere represents the earth covered by water, the substance of life, and challenges you, the viewer, to see not simply your reflection on the surface but also the universe around you. It is meant to be touched. Spin the large gear and listen to the passing of time as it ticks while turning in a clockwise direction. Spin the globe and hear the sound of the anguish of the earth.

PASSION CONSUMPTION $3, 495.00                                                                                                    Passion Consumption

Comprised of symbols of agriculture and industry this piece represents the struggle between man and technology in a world of limited natural resources in the face of an exploding population with unlimited demands for expansion and consumption.

$4,250.00 Currently on exhibit at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical CenterRing The Bell -
A sculptural ode to Leonard Cohen. This work is composed of heavy industrial metals welded together to form a representation of the universe. The ring gear attached to the outer part of the piece pivots so its position can be altered with the touch of the hand. The center components also spin, at the touch of the hand. The wand rising up from the top of the work is removable and can be struck against the ring gear which emits an interesting bell tone. The spectator is challenged to manipulate this symbol of the universe and "Ring the bells that still can ring," as a rallying call to bring industry and opportunity to working people everywhere.

$695.00The Dow 2009 -
A minimalist symbol of the economic crisis afflicting the globe as the 21st century attempts to unfold. This work is crafted from one-hundred year old 3/4 inch round steel about 41 inches in length and representing the gyrations of the Dow as financial markets crash. It rises from an industrial base and dives uncontrollably unto itself.

Center-Stagnation$3,750.00

The foundation of any social organization or nation is its economy. Without an economy, there is no social organization.

This piece is composed of symbols of what used to be the engine of the American economy – the auto industry. At the center are the inner gears of a car’s differential.

Power from the engine is transferred to the differential and then to the wheels where it is used to propel the vehicle forward.

Two ring gears, symbolizing the social organization, envelope the differential gears, a symbol of economic power. These gears are what engage the engine to start when the ignition key is turned. Without the ring gear, there is no power to the engine, the differential or the wheels. There is no forward movement.

Without labor, there is no inherent power in capital. It takes the workings of both forces to move the social organization forward.

The axis of this work runs upward symbolizing a promise of upward mobility. The axis pivots ever so slightly to the left and right from the center representing that center of political gravity that holds the social organization together. However, the tip of the axis points subtly to the left indicating a labor imperative.
